Eligibility for Admission in RVCE

RVCE Selection Criteria

• A candidate from the state of Karnataka will be selected based on their performance in the KCET exam.
• For students from other states, however, admission will be determined by tests like COMEDK and any other national entrance exam.
• Candidates who received a valid rank in the mentioned exams must show up for the counselling.
• Students who have passed the KCET must attend the KEA-conducted KCET Counselling, and students who have passed the COMEDK must attend the COMEDK Counselling.

Direct Admission / Management Quota Admission in RVCE

• Direct admission is available for programs in B.E., M.Tech. And MCA at RV College of Engineering. At RVCE, Bangalore, management quota direct admission is permitted for 25% of the total every year intake.
• Through management quota seats, interested candidates may apply for direct admission to RV College of Engineering.

• Candidates must hold a BE/B.Tech degree, or an equivalent, in a related discipline with a minimum average overall of 50% (45% for SC/ST candidates).
• Additionally, students need to have their GATE/PGCET scores.

Selection Criteria for M.tech Admission in RVCE 

Candidates for M.Tech admission must have a current GATE or PGCET examination score.

RVCE MCA Admissions

The Department of Master of Computer Applications at RVCE was founded in 1997 and was the institution’s first PG program. Now they provide one postgraduate program in computer applications (MCA) and two research programs (M.Sc. by Research and Ph.D. Degree) affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi. In 2016, the MCA program achieved academic autonomy. The National Board of Accreditation in New Delhi has many times accredited the MCA program.
